____Mercredi: Black with white on: socks on forearms, back of the legs, face, underneath and tip of the tail and her just above shoulder length straight hair. About 25~ish, slim, very shy but caring and sometimes overly concerned with others. Tends to wear clothes that are too big and masculine for her. Was kidnapped along with several others of her kind from her remote village. The males were put into harsh physical labour and the women and children were sold as curiosities to rich business men. Escaped with Avril and managed to get out of the country by hiding in a shipping container when she found out their owner wasn't going to just be using them as maids any more... |
____Avril: Totally black (although her fur verges on grey in parts like tail tips and hair) with a very long ponytail which she is very proud of. Definately a girly girl. Tends to cling to Mercredi whenever she's around. She's looked to Mercredi as a surrogate mother since when they were sold to the same wealthy Russian Business Man. Likes butterflies... |
____Elara: A typical black with double white stripes skunk. Stripes go from tip of tail, up her back where they widen and move slightly further apart then narrowing and coming together as they reach her neck. She also has 2 triangular face stripes which start at the centre of her hairline, going over her eyes and cheeks to a tip on the jawline. A small scar runs across the left side of her lips and 3 horizontal claw marks on the left side of her chest. Very slight build. In spite of this would not like to be seen as weak. She is very quiet and shy around others, so as she wont get hurt again... |
____Caesia: Part of a race of creatures genetically created by humans to work in dangerous industrial jobs. They are incredibly strong and resistant to many industrial poisons, diseases and high radiation levels. Fur is a sand colour with hair/head fur & tail a slightly lighter more yellow colour. Hair forms a few large spikes at the front and looks like is has been roughly cut. Her tail is very short and fluffy. She is part of the royalty of her race the silver band with blue stone around her head shows her status. Like many others before her she must go on a coming of age journey across the wastelands outside the safety of the village walls and return in order to gain her full status. |
____Pamela: Typical red vixen with black ear tips and socks up to just below the knees and elbows. She was once the fiancée of a brilliant research scientist who worked on body augmentation for the military, she was attacked as a way of convincing him to stop his research or switch sides. She was brutally beaten and (officially at least) died soon afterwards, but he used her in his research in the hope of bringing her back. He began the slow process of replacing her crushed organs and lost limbs with his new battle ready cybernetics technology. Her real legs and arms are mostly gone and parts of her skull, spine and chest are now enclosed in ceramic and metal. These parts have been designed to allow flesh, skin and fur to grow over them eventually so as to help agents and operatives using them to blend in more easily. Pamela spent this time in a vat of saline solution in an induced coma so as to reduce the stress on her body, but before her augmentation could be completed and she could be revived as planned, the lab was attacked. Many of the workers and scientists were killed. During the attack, Pamela was somehow activated and revived... It is not known what happened next but the lab went into full lockdown with everyone inside, including the attackers. When it was finally opened a day later she was the only one still 'alive', it is thought that some of the attackers may have escaped but it is unknown. She had taken several rounds which disrupted her cybernetic power network and so her artificail limbs were not capable of movement. Since she was legally dead and the most complete part of top secret research program she is considered the property of the state. She was 'disabled' and taken to another facility where she could be studied, tested and finished. Her current staus is unknown althought there have been some recent sightings of an unknown vixen at several rebel flashpoints and what was believed to be a political assisination at a hospital... |
____Samantha: Long silvery
white haired feline. Her and her identical twin sister Angela were separated from their parents
when they arrived (along with thousands of other refugees of their kin) on earth as
babies but were adopted by a human couple (which explains their oddly human names). For
their first few years they lived a happy life with their new family, but that soon changes.
The influx of refugees prompts the economy to take a dive. Unemployment, poverty and the
escalating abuse and hatred of of other humans towards the refugees and the girls tears
their family apart. Eventually they run away together, but it is not the end of the bad
times at all... |
